Today we are hearing from Asset Living’s Director of New Development Marketing, Shelby Moore.
What is your background and experience in and what do you do within Asset Living?
"I have been in the property management industry for 11 years. Throughout my time, I have operated in Student, Multi-family, Senior and Affordable housing. I assist in overseeing our multi-family new development division bringing personification and experience-based customer experience to our properties and residents."
What piece of advice would you give to a new employee who is #BecomingAnAsset?
"Be yourself, bring your ideas and JUMP IN! The Asset Living culture is all about elevating processes and each other."
What drives you to be the best team member possible?
"The people I get to work with every day. Not many people get to say that they look forward to coming to work each day, but every day I get to spend with my team makes me not only a better team member but a better person. Seeing them crush their goals and be successful is the biggest driving factor I could ask for."
What is your favorite memory from this year or within your career at Asset Living?
"One of my favorite memories is from this year when our whole team got together for our first annual New Development Summit! We spent three full days learning, growing, and connecting to become a stronger team! For some of us, it was our first time meeting in person, so it was a special event."
Lastly, what do you like to do outside of work in your free time?
"I love spending time with my friends and family and giving my dogs snuggles. I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and popups around the city!"
