Today, we will be hearing from Asset Ambassador and Senior Community Manager Elizabeth Parker, who works at Asset Living’s student housing community, Knights Circle.
I love working in Orlando because it's my hometown! Born and raised here, I moved back during the pandemic to be closer to my family and friends, which was important to me to be close to home. While on the Traveling Operational Property Specialist (TOPS) team, I had the chance to assist at a property in Orlando, and when the opportunity to step into the role of Senior Community Manager came along, I couldn't say no.
Local Spotlight:
I love going to Foxtail Coffee Co., especially its flagship location. The coffee is always great, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. On weekends, I enjoy taking my Kindle, grabbing breakfast, and reading a good book.
Team Favorites:
We enjoy gathering in our phase two property office for meetings or lunch. The study room was renovated in the past few years, making it the perfect spot to discuss and plan future projects. When it's time for lunch, my office or our Assistant Community Manager's office becomes the go-to place for the team to gather, eat, and chat!
Favorite Lunchtime Spot:
The managers at Knights Circle love heading to Mission BBQ! After our quarterly meetings, it's our go-to spot for lunch with our sister property, Pointe at Central. Great food and even better company!
Team Bonding Adventures:
With such a large staff at Knights Circle, each property office hosts special activities for their teams throughout the year—whether it's bowling, Pop Stroke, or simply enjoying a dinner out together.
