HOUSTON (July 10, 2023) – Asset Living is pleased to announce Kate Novick has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Accounting for Asset Living. Novick started at Asset Living over two years ago and has been in property management for 12 years. As Senior Vice President, Novick brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the table.
"2022 was a big year for me as I implemented NetSuite as our corporate accounting ERP and consolidated our corporate accounting practices. In 2023 I have been deeply involved in several technology initiatives that integrate our corporate accounting ERP with the property management systems (Entrata, Real Page, Yardi, etc.) as well as integrations with other software used by the company to better support property accounting (Domo, Concur, etc.). This year my goal is to continue to integrate and streamline the corporate accounting procedures to support our rapid growth.," says Novick
Before joining Asset Living, Novick kickstarted her career at Ernest & Young in their New York and San Diego audit practices. She worked with a range of clients, mainly in the financial services and real estate sectors. In 2016, she made her way to Texas and found her passion in property management while working for American Campus Communities. She's also a licensed CPA, bringing her expertise to the table. Novick's journey has been nothing short of impressive, and her skills continue to make an impact at Asset Living.

When Kate is not working, she enjoys running, traveling, eating my way through Houston’s fabulous restaurants, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two cats. We are also about to welcome a baby boy to the family!
