When designing Elara Flagstaff, the team from McGrath Real Estate Partners noted a lack in available community space within Flagstaff.
Our Approach
The Event Center, one of the building's top amenities, was specifically designed to fill this gap and be a social hub within Flagstaff. Not only is it available for residents to use, but it is also open to the wider Flagstaff community for events, such as holiday parties, corporate events, and family gatherings. The space is widely used by the Greek student community as the Elara team has opened the space to Greek life events such puppy adoption and bid days. The co-mingling of members of the local community with residents creates a much-needed space for community events.

The Results
Elara Flagstaff is not just a community-centered development, but it also offers top-notch amenities to enhance the resident experience. The 2-story gym is one of the best in Flagstaff, offering residents access to a variety of fitness classes with partnerships with community gyms such as Orange Theory Fitness and Yoga6. The heated pool with a jumbotron screen is a year-round gathering place for residents, perfect for hosting events such as Super Bowl watch parties and viewing parties for shows like The Bachelor. The massive turf lawn is perfect for puppy playdates, as well as games of foosball, ping-pong, and more. The fireplace is a beautiful gathering place for residents during the summer, and the ski and active gear and bike storage is a convenient and practical amenity for residents who enjoy outdoor activities. The pet-friendly wash station is a thoughtful addition for residents with furry friends, making it easy to clean up after a day of hiking.
