“As leaders, our role is to serve. It's important to understand and appreciate the contributions of every associate, as they play a vital part in our company's performance and in how we serve our prospects, residents, and clients.”
What are you most passionate about at work and how have you been able to feed into that passion while working at Asset Living?
"I am extremely passionate about expanding our portfolio. As we grow, our associates will also have the opportunity to grow their careers. Growth brings opportunity, and I make it my top priority every day—it's always the first item on my list."
Reflecting on your career with Asset Living, what are some ways you have pushed yourself to grow or improve?
"After 15 years at Alliance Residential, Asset Living is my first new role. I've had to adapt to new systems and management styles, stepping completely out of my comfort zone. Immersing myself in the Asset Living culture, there's been no looking back!”
What is one of the most inspiring examples you’ve seen of successful leadership?
"I was fortunate to have a great mentor early in my career who guided me and taught me the soft skills of becoming a leader. He took me under his wing, challenging me to make the right moves and to stay focused between professional and personal decision-making."
How does Asset Living’s culture inspire you to push yourself?
"I'm surrounded by associates and leaders who are laser-focused on our company's success. Together, we are building an evergreen organization that will be the envy of industry and the employer of choice for our associates."
