In 1986, Asset Living was founded with a vision to better serve communities. Since the beginning, our undeniable passion has driven our organic growth from a small property management firm to one of the most trusted allies in real estate. - 2020 Broadened our affordable property management portfolio while simultaneously growing our multi-family presence in the Southwest following the acquisition of Alpha Barnes Real Estate Services and Shelton Residential.
- 2021 Expanded our multi-family portfolio in the Southwest and Southeast following the strategic acquisitions of Echelon Property Group, City Gate Property Group, and JMG Realty.
- 2022 Continued growth in the central and mountain regions following the acquisitions of Trinity Multifamily and BMC Investments.
- 2023 Ranked as No. 3 on the National Multifamily Housing Council Top 50 Manager’s List, No. 3 on the National Affordable Housing Management Association’s Affordable 100 List, and we grew our team with the acquisitions of BMC Investments, SMP, and First Communities Management, gaining top talent nationwide.
- 2010 Team Asset is recognized as an industry leader in property management ranked as No. 1 on SHB’s Top Managers List, No. 34 on NMHC’s Top Managers List, and ending the year with 34,000 units.
- 2013 Broadened the diversity of our multi-family asset classes following the acquisition of Greystone Asset Management. In the same year, our new development division was created.
- 2016 No task is too large or too complicated for team Asset. After being awarded management of the CCG Portfolio, our team seamlessly transitioned 74 properties inclusive of 42,000 beds over a 45-day period.
- 2018 Asset Living was formed bringing all of the divisions together under one brand name.
- 2009 We became one of 560 property management companies to hold a prestigious Accredited Management Organization award given by the Institute of Real Estate Management.
- 1998 Asset Campus Housing was founded when we entered the student housing market after our largest multi-family client invested in their first off-campus property, prompting us to join them in the space.
- 1986 Our business was born during the savings and loan crisis where we would help turnaround properties by improving their operations, turning failing investments into success stories.
